1. In a medium pot, fill 1 cup of rice, rinse and drain. Repeat a couple of times.
2. Drained rinsed water completely, then add 2 cups of water and 3 teaspoons of curry soup base. Mix throughly.
3. Bring it to boil, when the liquid comes to a boil, reduce the heat low enough so that it just holds a simmer, stirring to dissolve the curry soup base.
4. Cover the pot and crack the lid for vent. (if lid has no vent hole). Simmer without stirring for 10-12 minutes or moisture has been absorbed.
5. Turn off the heat, then leave the pot on the stove for 15 minutes (cover with the lid).
6. Right before serving, fluff the finished rice up with a fork.
